Animation Type

An animation type defines how the avatar will be animated.

There are two default animation types available in Avatar Ready.

  • The Inverse kinematic animation type is meant for embodied avatars.

  • The Replay animation type is meant for agents animated by an animation file.

  • There is also a Mocap animation type for users having the Xsens package in their project.

An Animation Type can be implemented by various animation systems. The animation type only serves as a category for those animation systems.
